Mr. Chester is a 4th Degree
Black-Belt in the style of Tae Kwon Do (Mun Moo Kwan) , the art/method way
of “self-defense” using feet, hands, mind; whole body as a weapon. In
perfecting this style of Martial Arts, Mr. Chester has devoted
incredible time and effort in mastering the qualities necessary, including
self-discipline and respect. He has also mastered the special techniques
of self-defense as well as Kumite (fighting) skills.
Mr.
Chester presently works with problem young boys between the ages of 13 yrs
and 18 yrs of age. Mr. Chester has been
successful in his career as a KickBoxer as well as a Black-Belt
Competitor. Much Thanks for training under the directions of Mr. Julio
Alvarez, Mr. Nelson Horn and retired U.S. Welterweight Champion, Master
Mark “Hollywood” Krebs. Mr. Chester most of all bows his head in
appreciation and displays endless Respect and Honor to the one man who
made his career possible and worth while challenging. A man who made Mr.
Chester believe in himself and gave him the strength and courage to go on
accomplishing goals and honors which most people could work a life time
and accomplish. This man also made Mr. Chester believes in the four (4)
factors of being a true Martial Artist with Dignity. Those factors are:
Self Discipline, Self Defense, Physical Fitness, and Peace of Mind. Mr.
Schmitt, Mr. Chester thanks you with all the Respect in the Tae Kwon Do
World of Martial Arts; it has been a pleasure to obtain the knowledge that
you have patiently given him.
Over
twenty-three years under instruction of Mr. Ed Schmitt, Mr. Chester has
acquired a sense of balance and coordination that has enabled him to
become an accomplished and proven Martial Arts Instructor. Now Mr.
Chester’s goal in life is to pass on his knowledge and discipline to
youths and adults. These individuals must be willing to make a commitment
to utilize these Martial Art skills mentally and physically, and only for
good intentions for self defense and in helping others.
